Person #2 - No, I'm not ready. I was ready but not now. Person #1 - Why? What happened? Person #2 - Remember my brother (mio fratello), Bruno? Person #1 - Yes, he and my sister (mia sorella)were born the same day. Person #2 - I promised to watch her children (i suoi figli) for three hours today. Person #1 - How beautiful! How did it go? Person #2 - I started to get ready to go out with you after they left. Person #1 - When did they leave? Person #2 - They left eight hours ago! Person #1 - I don’t understand, why aren’t you ready? Person #2 - When I thought that I was almost ready, I took my shoes (le mie scarpe) and I found a surprise (una sopresa)! Person #1 – Oh good! I like a surprise! What was this surprise? Person #2 – There was food in my shoes. In fact, it was soup (zuppa)! Then, I went into the kitchen to wash my shoes and I noticed a smell (odore). Person #1 - Another surprise? Person #2 - Yeah. They put my keys (le mie chiavi) in the oven (forno) and then they turned it on. Person #1 - You can’t drive now? What will we do now? Ugh, I'm sorry but I gotta go, good luck!
